Background:
Apolipoprotein A II is the second most abundant proteinof the high density lipoprotein particles. The apolipoprotein A II geneconsists of 4 exons and 3 introns. The four exons encode the 5' untranslatedregion, pre peptide, a short N terminal domain and a C terminal domain composedof a variable number of lipid binding amphipathic helices. Familial apolipoproteinA II deficiency may result from a splice junction alteration which blockssplicing of intron 3 from the primary transcript and result in the formation ofa non functional mRNA.Subunit : Homodimer; disulfide-linked. Also forms adisulfide-linked heterodimer with APOD. Interacts with HCV core protein.Interacts with APOA1BP and NDRG1.

Storage: Store at -20℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thawcycles. The lyophilized antibody isstable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20℃. Whenreconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for atleast six weeks at 2-4 ℃
